Nancy Bepple Candidate for Kamloops City Council

Hello. 

The Oct 15, 2022 City of Kamloops’ elections are less than 4 months away.

Thank you to the volunteers who have been working hard so far and to generous donors.  Can you help too?  To volunteer, or make a donation to help my election campaign, go here.

Here are a few highlights of what the team and I have been working on over the last couple months:

  • weekly door knocking: Good conversations. Some important things people shared: action on homelessness, repairing roads, doctor shortage, recreational facilities, accessible services for people w disabilities.

  • Jun 9 fundraiser – a great turnout, even with rain.  a lot of enthusiasm for change.

Being a strong city councillor means getting out in community.  Here are some of the place’s Nancy has been in the last two months:

  • Kamloops Chamber of Commerce networking social
  • Kamloops Chamber of Commerce Business Excellence nomination breakfast
  • Kamloops Food Policy Council potluck and monthly meeting
  • By Bike Celebration Station volunteer (luckily on a sunny day)
  • Kamloops Central Business Improvement Association AGM
  • Green Drinks
  • Kamloops Food Bank – grand opening of Food Distribution Centre
  • Transition Kamloops meeting
  • École Collines-D’Or – tree planting ceremony
  • Kamloops Food Policy Stir centre tour + Green party meet and greet
  • Ponderosa music
  • St.Vincent De Paul lunch
  • Farmers’ Market
  • Transition Kamloops book launch
  • Ukrainian families’ dinner
